Dish Network ViP211K MPEG4 High-Definition HDTV Satellite Receiver Tuner – HD

This is a new DISH Network model 211K receiver. It is the perfect choice for a basic High Definition satellite receiver.  It can be activated as a new account, a replacement for an older non HD receiver, a replacement for a non working receiver, an add-on to an existing account for an extra room and/or as a tailgater receiver for your RV.  The advantage of the 211K over the 211Z is the addition of an output for channel 3/4 as well as the HD output.  In a camper, this means it can run the main TV with the included HDMI or AV cables and also a remote TV like a bedroom with standard coax cable (Watching the same programming as the main TV)  This receiver is compatible with the eastern arc and western arc satellites.

By adding a customer furnished USB hard drive and paying DISH a one time software upgrade fee this model can be upgraded to a DVR.
